"Sawalele" is a musical built around the songs of Rex Lawson, a Nigerian highlife legend who passed away in the early 1970s. The storyline is completely original, created by students of the MUSON Diploma School's Jazz and Contemporary Workshop Class. As the story unfolds, many of Rex Lawson's popular hits are woven into the scenes.
